BelleVue Rental Agreement & Lodge Rules

Bookings are only secured on receipt of a booking form and deposit. Due to year on year demand Etang Marolles cannot provisionally hold any dates or spaces without a deposit and booking form.

Payment

Balance of payment must be paid in full eight weeks prior to departure. If the balance is not received by the stated date, Etang Marolles reserve the right to cancel your holiday. Should you book within ten weeks of departure the full balance of the holiday will be required.

Check in / Out

The property will be available from 4pm on Saturday and must be vacated by 10am the following Saturday. A security deposit of £150 pounds / 200€ is required and should be transferred into our bank account, prior to the commencement of your holiday. The security deposit will be held to cover any damages, breakages or loss, caused to the property or its contents, during your stay. Etang Marolles reserves the right to deduct money from the security deposit, to cover additional cleaning costs, should the property be left in an unacceptable condition. The security deposit will be returned at the end of your holiday, after inspection of the property and the owners are satisfied with its condition.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your holiday, you are liable to a cancellation fee:

• Eight weeks notice or more before travel date – forfeiture of deposit.
• Between four and eight weeks before travel – forfeiture of 50% of the total booking.
• Less than four weeks before travel date – forfeiture of total booking.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to fire, storm, flood, weather, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, threat of terrorist activity, war, Acts of God or any other events beyond our control.

Insurance

All guests should ensure they take out the necessary travel insurance, including a UK European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC).

Passports

All guests should ensure they hold the appropriate passport and travel documents at time of travel.

Lodge Rules

When using the log burner;

• Only use the wood provided.
• Never start a fire with flammable liquids.
• Do not put rubbish in the log burner.
• Do not stack logs or place any other combustible materials immediately adjacent to the log burner.
• Children should not be permitted near the hot surfaces of the log burner at any time.

We use a septic tank for toilet waste. Please do not put anything down the toilet, other than biodegradable toilet paper.

Do not leave any rubbish lying around outside.

Please remove wet or muddy footwear before entering the lodge.

Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge

Fishery Rules & Regulations

All guests (anglers and non anglers) must agree to abide by all lake rules as laid down by the Owners. We reserve the right to immediately terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide to you, if we, our employees, agents or any other persons, appointed under our authority, judge your behaviour to be likely to cause discomfort or harm to our other clients, persons or property. In this situation, we will not accept any liability to provide a refund or compensation for damages which you may incur. On departure the property must be left in the same condition as on arrival, i.e. clean and tidy. All guests must be declared on the booking form.

Children

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults bringing children under 16 do so at their own risk. Children should be supervised at all times.

Pets

We do not permit pets on the premises or in BelleVue lodge.
