Main Lake Terms & Conditions

Main Lake Reservations

Bookings are only secured on receipt of a booking form and deposit. Due to year on year demand Etang Marolles cannot provisionally hold any dates or spaces without a deposit and booking form.

Payment

Balance of payment must be paid in full eight weeks prior to departure. If the balance is not received by the stated date, Etang Marolles reserve the right to cancel your holiday. Should you book within ten weeks of departure the full balance of the holiday will be required.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your holiday you are liable to a cancellation fee:

• Eight weeks notice or more before travel date – forfeiture of deposit.
• Between four and eight weeks before travel – forfeiture of 50% of the total booking.
• Less than four weeks before travel date – forfeiture of total booking.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any loss, delay or cancellations due to fire, storm, flood, weather, riots, political unrest, industrial disputes, threat of terrorist activity, war, Acts of God or any other events beyond our control.

Insurance

All guests should ensure they take out the necessary travel insurance, including a UK European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC).

Passports

All guests should ensure they hold the appropriate passport and travel documents at time of travel.

Fishery Rules & Regulations

All guests (anglers and non anglers) must agree to abide by all Lake Rules as laid down by the Owners. We reserve the right to immediately terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide to you, if we, our employees, agents or any other person appointed under our authority, judge your behaviour to be likely to cause discomfort or harm to our other clients, persons or property. In this situation we will not accept any liability to pay you a refund or provide compensation or damages which you may incur. All guests must be declared on the booking form.

Arrival / Departure / Swim Allocation

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Arrivals not before 12pm and departure by 9:30am. The swim draw (if required) takes place at approximately 1pm on Saturday. If you have booked multiple weeks fishing, in any one visit, please be aware you will need to redraw for swim allocation every Saturday.

Children

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults bringing children under 16 do so at their own risk. Children should be supervised at all times.

Pets

We do not permit pets on the premises.
